Computer Technology and Programming programme has a duration of 2-year has been designed to provide the fundamentals of contemporary Computer Technology and Programming . A distinctive feature of the Department is to offer all of the courses in Computer Technology and Programming Curriculum in Turkish. S tudents must attend classes, practices and examinations. Students' attendance is followed by the Instructor concerned. For almost all required and technical elective courses there are written examinations, in which most cases student must solve selected problems by calculation The midterm examinations are compacted and given in the ninth week of the semester. One midterm examination is given during each semester. Dates of
midterm examinations are announced by the Department before 2 weeks of the midterms.In addition to midterm examinations and other work students are required to take a final examination . Final examinations are held at the appropriate place and hour as decided and announced by the Department. Students are given a make up examination for any examination which they have not attended if it is accepted by the Vocational School Administrative. Comittee that there exist genuine and valid reasons for this. Courses which do not require midterm and/or finalexaminations are determined by the course teacher. Under these circumstances, the semester grade is given by evaluating the work done throughout the semester. In the nontechnical optional c ourses, students and lecturer arrange the method of evaluation. The student's success in these courses is awarded by "successful" in the transcript of records. Students spend totally four weeks in a company for their summer training at the end of the 4th semester.

The rules and regulations for recognition of formal prior learning are well defined. Transfer can be made among the institutions of which equivalency is recognized by Higher Education Council. The courses to be taken by these students are determined by the relevant department ,on the basis of courses they have completed in the programs from which they have graduated. Recognition of prior non-formal and in-formal learning is at the beginning stage in Turkish Higher Education Institutions. Suleyman University and hence of the Computer Technology and Programming
Department is not an exception to this. However, exams of exemptiona re organised at the start of each year at the University for the courses of English Language and Computer Skills. The students who have completed the proficiencies for these courses on his/her own or through other means,and believe that they have achieved the learning outcomes specified are given the right to take the exemption exam. The students who achieve a passing grade from these exams are held exempt from the related course in the curriculum.

Ulusal yeterlilik sistemi üç Bolonya süreci seviyesini içerebilir (ya da orta seviye yeterlilikleri) (örneğin kısa süreç olan ilk süreç). Bu seviyeler üniversitelere belirlli yeterlilikleri yapılandırmayı ve yeterlilik vasıtasıyla ilerlemek üzere düzenlemeye izin verir. Türkiye’de yeterlilik zorunlulukları ve yönetmeliğe uygunluk YÖK tarafından belirlenir.

Sınav Ve Değerlendirme Kuralları

Genel kural olarak değerlendirme ders başına 1 vize (%40) ve 1 final sınavı (%60) üzerinden yapılmaktadır. Çeşitli dersler ilave ödev veya ara sınav talep edebilir.

Mezuniyet Koşulları
|

|
Yasal süre içinde mezuniyet için gerekli tüm dersleri almak ve bu derslerden başarılı olmak koşulu ile devam etmekte olduğu programı en az 2.00 Genel Not Ortalaması (GNO) ile tamamlamak.
